Angelina Howard

Angelina (she/her/hers) is a Senior Product Manager (PM) at Amazon. She owns the domain/roadmap across seven marketplaces for video game customer discovery which includes the customer shopping journey from search, product detail page, and checkout. Angelina transitioned into product management in 2017 and has been passionate about not only learning and building inclusive products, but also increasing the knowledge and representation of Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) in product management. Outside of her PM role, she is an advisor and former President of the Black Employee Network (BEN), an Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Amazon. She focuses on being an advocate for inclusion and diversity, driving different initiatives and programs internally/externally, advising Amazon’s senior leaders, and growing a community inside and outside of Amazon. In 2020 she was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 2021 honoree for her work. In 2021, she was named Black Enterprise 40 Under 40.

In addition to her work at Amazon she is a blogger, freelance instructor, adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas, speaker, and corporate diversity consultant.

Angelina graduated from Colorado State University's College of Business as a first generation student with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) concentrating in corporate finance and supply chain management. She loves history and geography. She enjoys traveling because it allows her to experience different cultures across the US and the world. She strong in her faith and attends Churchome. Angelina lives in Dallas, TX.

Rovina Valayshia

Rovina Valashiya (she/her/hers) is passionate about business strategy, entrepreneurship, and faith-centered leadership. She enjoys an exciting career leading a product management team at Amazon and has successfully launched businesses, both within the company and independently. In 2018, she received Amazon’s Just Do It Award from CEO, Jeff Bezos for innovating on behalf of customers to build and launch Amazon Textures & Hues – an online shop for textured hair care – based on an idea she co-authored and pitched.

She combines her passions and career experiences in her book, “Pray for Potatoes,” which is a guide to equip the reader with habits rooted in biblical principles to stay spiritually grounded while progressing in the corporate environment. She is also the founder and CEO of Fiber Sole, a Christian street wear brand designed to speak life into the world through God’s love.

Rovina studied at Washington University in St. Louis and holds an MBA from Olin Business School and an undergraduate Finance degree. Outside of work, she is an avid snowboarder and basketball player, fan of live music, and explorer of the great outdoors. She attends Christian Faith Center and lives in Seattle, Washington.
